~ The O'Brien Team's Story ~

After attending college towards a sales and marketing degree, I (Aubrey) decided to obtain my real estate license in 2006. That was the same year Jared and I met, with it only fitting that he was also my first client! Jared, a pipe fitter by trade, worked 13 years for his family's company while supporting my career every step of the way. It was in 2013 after a battle with Lyme Disease (which we are beyond thankful he won) Jared chose to obtain his real estate license, and we officially became "The O'Brien Team". Jared and I have three fantastic children that our entire world revolves around. Our family enjoys anything and everything outdoors along with traveling as much as our schedules allow. We opened the Jim Maloof Loft branch in the summer of 2020, thrilled to become a part of the revitalization of Peoria's Riverfront and Warehouse District.

Jared and I have different personalities and skills, the ongoing joke is- Jared talks our clients out of more homes than he sells. He is very knowledgeable about the functioning parts and construction of a home, always looking out for the best interest of our clients. He has certainly helped me grow as a Realtor, sharing his knowledge so that we are both able to help our clients save time, money and a lot of headache. With my background being in marketing I focus a majority of my energy on how best to present and quickly sell each of our listings along with networking for our listings, clients and team. Every home is unique, offering its own features to highlight and advertise.

In 2018 our team grew with the addition of Keri O'Connor. She brought with her over 20 years of both real estate and appraisal experience along with a smile and personality that will light up any room! As our team's transaction coordinator she goes above and beyond to make sure our client's buying/selling experience is smooth and that everyone is pleased when we get to the closing table. She is truly the heart of our team.

In 2020 it was time for our team to grow yet again! After the birth of our twins we quickly learned that for us to continue exceeding our client's expectations our team would need to grow alongside our family. With open arms we welcomed Sara McDaniels to the O'Brien Team as our buyer's agent! Sara, an experienced Realtor, is extremely customer service oriented. She has patience and perseverance, but most importantly a passion for helping people. With a Masters degree in Athletic Administration Sara was later drawn towards a career in Real Estate after the purchase of her own home. We are so thankful that she changed careers!!

On those days when we are not in the office or showing/listing properties, we spend every ounce of our free time creating new memories with our families (weather permitting, outdoors!). Not only do we truly love our jobs but, more importantly, we look forward to the relationships we develop throughout our careers. Our team has grown to currently ranked in the top 5% out of over 600 Realtors in our area and we owe this success entirely to our clients!

Sara McDaniels, Your Peoria Area Real Estate Agent

Sara is a customer-service-oriented real estate agent who helps home buyers and sellers in and around the Peoria area. If you're looking for an agent with patience, perseverance, and a passion for helping people, you've just found her!

Sara graduated from Richwoods High School. She moved on to receive her B.S. from Illinois State University and her M.A. from Concordia University Irvine. When Sara is not helping her clients, she enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. Sara and her husband Patrick are both officers of their local Elks lodge, and active members of their community.

Born and raised right here is the Peoria area, Sara knows the area well. This benefits the home buyer in several ways.
